The lamp is really space saving. It is a good size and gives off plenty of light while charging up the IPOD. It works on MP3 players as well.

The sound is great when using the iPod, but when the iPod is not docked, or docked but silent, the speakers have an annoying humming noise. It was so irritating that it kept waking my daughter up throughout the night. We have to unplug the unit to stop the noise!

Someone bought this for me as a Christmas present and only 2 months later it has fallen apart. The lamp part of it fell off. The lamp was never droped or mistreated in any way. Without even touching it the lamp shade part just fell of with the wires hanging out of it, and of course there is absolutely no warranty on this item. I strongly reccomend that you do not buy this product. Go to Walmart or somewhere else.
