The title pretty much says it all.... Oct 15, 2002

There is a reason that many workplaces ban Dilbert cartoons- they are just too darn close to the truth. I've lost track of the number of times that I've laughed myself silly after finding one of his cartoon arcs describing some experience in my own working career.
In his biography, Scott Adams is described as both an engineer and as a member of Mensa. Inspite of this, however, he has a sense of humor.... I'm sure that this confirmation of the absurdity of corporate "culture" has helped more than a few intelligent wage-slaves maintain their sanity over the years. It almost maintained mine.

A HILLARIOUS SATIRE Sep 26, 1998
"Dilbert, the customer liked the mock-up so much that he ordered a thousand!" "That was a MOCK-UP! We don't make that product yet! It would take us three years to make one." "Just give us a thousand mock-ups. The first one was terrific." "The mock-up was our competitor's product with duct tape over the logo" Just one of the various and funny strips you will find in this and other Dilbert books, Dilbert is a masterful parody of not just the bastions of the work place, but the social life that comes with being whatever type of worker you are. The fact that his company and pointy-haired manager are unnamed, and the fact that the product his company makes is never mentioned, and that his company never goes out of business, all add to the relateablility and the surrealistic humor. You've got sadistic talking animals(an evil cat that is director of human resources, a dog that thinks its smarter than everyone else and wants to rule humanity, and a totally clueless rat), and more. Read the newspaper strip, then go out and buy some Dilbert books.

Scott has done it again! May 23, 1998
A MUST-BUY & KEEP. Compared to alot of his other books, I really enjoyed this one and laugh all the way through. If you are a dilbert fan, this is one you must own. If you're not, but just looking for a good laugh, I highly recommend this collection
Sometimes I feel as Scott Adams sits in my cubicle... Feb 27, 2008
By C. PAOLO The point-haired Boss is just like my REAL CEO.
The consultants hired by my company are really as cynical and expensive as Dogbert
...sometimes I had the feeling, Scott Adams worked in my office...
Amazing!
Highly recommended, at least for self-defense purposes!
Classic Dilbert Jan 20, 2008
By P. J. Considine Bought this as a Christmas gift for my teenage nephew, I think he has quite a collection now. He was very happy to get it. We are all Dilbert fans in our family!
