This item was small, cheap, and definitely unsatisfying! It was plastic/ the connectors were cheap plastic. I would have paid maybe $5.00 for this item. It was very very very disappointing.I was so looking forward to it. I had had a fountain I previously had for years and was looking for a replacement. THIS WAS NOT IT! Words really do not express my disappoint when I received it. (Iwas surprised because I thought it came from a reputable company....I was wrong/ I am now afraid to order online---especially from this company)

Very nice fountain. I have had it for about a month now and have had no problems with it.

Fountain arrived in time, I could easily assemble it. You can control flow of the water by changing number of stones on the flap. Motor makes noise occasionally, however noise stopped after adjusting the water level. Looks great due to its shape . Very relaxing, with a cup of tea!

I love the sound of water and always wanted a fountain at home.
The size and look of this fountain fite compact apartments very well.
The water sound can be heard even 15feet away and is very pleasant. You can hardly hear the motor.
I dont mind the plastic, since the color fits almost any shade in the room.
Needs about 15mins maintenance per week - the water needs to be drained, and interior needs to be wiped with a clean towel. -And it stands pretty all the time!

I love this little fountain! It's been going in our house 24/7 for over 2 months, and has worked fine.
We keep it on the floor of our dining room, where the lovely water sound can be heard throughout the first floor of our house. The sound of the running water is very pleasant and relaxing. The water flow is good, and unlike some other fountains the water doesn't get "stuck" on a level but flows continuously through. The illumination is subtle and nice, brighter then a night light mostly because of the water reflections that play across the walls.
The only down side I've found is that it isn't a 360 degree view fountian - the back isn't as attractive as the front, so you will want to keep the back against a wall. For the price, this wasn't a big deal to me.
Overall, it's a great fountain for the money.
Note: when you first get the fountain, it's important follow the instructions to wash both the fountain and the stones well before use. Homedics says most noise problems people report are caused by dust and grime from skipping this step are caused by people who do not do this. Once a week, take 5 minutes to give it a good rinse in the kitchen sink and refill it with clean water, and it will last you a long time.
