Great little fan! Jul 09, 2010 At $16 and free Prime Shipping it was a great deal. I don't have any complaints about the noise because there is very little of it for the amount of air this little thing moves. Buy this fan.

A little 8" Fan pushes as much air as three 16" Fans! May 07, 2010 I got this fan at Wal-mart. I wish I had gotten it here in stead of paying $22 plus tax. But if I had I would not know this fan is as good as three 16" fans. 2 Lasko oscillating. I compared it at the store and the one I already had home.(It's remote control fan) And lastly a 16" no name box fan they had on sale. I really am amazed how well it works. I'm using it to keep my laptop cool and in three weeks I've had no overheat caused shutdowns! I"m thinking about getting the 10" to sit in front of the A/C.

Decent fan for the money Apr 26, 2010 I just picked this up for use in my office at work. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to spend under $20 on an affordable fan for the office.
Pros:
- It does it's job. It blows plenty of air, even on it's lowest setting. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they added a third, even lower setting to what they already offer.
- Pretty stylish. A nice charcoal grey that blends it well with my dark computer equipment/phone/etc.
- Relatively quiet. It's a fan, so it makes noise. It's unavoidable. But the sound output is about what you'd expect for a desktop fan. I haven't experienced any rattle that others have complained about.
Cons:
- It feels a little cheap, though for its price point, that's about what I expected.
- The angle adjuster could be better. Most fans I've had click into position to adjust the angle that the air is blown. This fan uses a thumb screw that you have to tighten once you set it at the right angle which can make it cumbersome to make regular adjustments.
Overall, I'd say I'm pretty happy with it.

Blew me away.....almost literally Dec 11, 2009 I'm a picky shopper.
I searched for months for the perfect fan.
It really blows hard, REALLY HARD.
Big huge bunch of air coming out of this little sucker.
I cannot use the high setting because my arm turns blue from the cold.
High speed is great for moving air in the room.
Low speed if it's blowing on you. (what I use it for)
I forgot to write a review after I got it, but now it's a month later and I am dying to have another for my bedroom, so I thought I would let everyone know how much I love it.
My sister loved it too, so she had to order one for herself.
Visual:
1) Beautiful charcoal gray, looks black in a dark room.
2) Very nice looking.
3) I wouldn't hesitate to put it on my desk if I were a CEO.
4) It looks just like the photo, unlike a lot of other items.
Regarding the crappy reviews:
1) There is no rattle, they must have gotten a defective one, or like to complain.
2) The motor is NOT NOISY AT ALL. If you hold the blades, you hear nothing.
3) The noise is from the wind blowing. Seriously, it's like sticking your head out the window of a moving car. Wind makes noise. I think these people just like to complain.
I love mine and I'm off to order another one now.
