Nice blue color but could be brighter. Jan 07, 2008

These LED lights have a very nice blue color when on, unlike some standard blue bulbs that also show some white areas. The reason for the four stars is because the bulbs need to be a little brighter. The bulbs are cool to the touch no matter how long they have been on. The faceted cone bulbs really made my ceder tree in the front yard look great, especial if there was a light breeze to make the branches move. The lights looked like they where sparkling on the tree. These lights have done so well that I ordered the red and green lights as well.

I love the color of these lights - they are so intense that the tree seems to gleam with them on it. However, the cord was a little shorter than I imagined it would be -- I would recommend two sets of these to be able to string the lights for any distance at all. Otherwise, they create a beautiful effect.
